About Us

The FCC has a special class of radio licenses called Low Power FM Radio (LPFM) to create opportunities for new voices to be heard on the radio. The LPFM radio service consists of 100-watt stations which reach an area with a radius of approximately three and one-half miles or more. LPFMs are non-commercial stations, must be operated by a non-profit or government entity, and must be based in the community where they broadcast. In 2013, the FCC opened a window for new LPFM applications, the first since 2001. Rockdale Community Broadcasting (RCB)was formed, applied for a license which was granted, and went on air as WHJU-LP in March 2017.

Mission

Rockdale Community Broadcasting (RCB) operates WHJU-LP, a community based radio station in the Conyers, Georgia area.  Our mission is:

  • To help Evangelical Christian believers grow in their faith and understanding of God through strong Bible based teaching and preaching.

  • To share the good news of Jesus Christ with unbelievers.

  • To encourage listeners with the hope and joy of the Lord through Christian music.

We accomplish this mission by broadcasting local, regional, and national ministries, educational programming, and a varied selection of contemporary and traditional Christian music.

All programming must agree with our Statement of Faith and is at the sole discretion of the management of RCB.
